At Bio Tap, we have established a Global Centre of Intelligence to prove that current irrigation standards—even the most respected—are operating on 20th-century logic. We are moving beyond the “guess” and embracing the technological advantage of the 21st century.
Two Territories. One Proprietary Engine.
To prove our engine’s durability, we are running a live forensic audit across two distinct climates using a 50m² grass constant:
-
United Kingdom: Monitoring C3 Grass (temperate fescues/rye) against a baseline of strict RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) guidelines.
-
Florida: Monitoring C4 Grass (subtropical St. Augustine).
The Forensic Twist: To demonstrate total dominance, we have applied the RHS UK guidelines to our Florida grid. We are testing the world’s best manual standards against the reality of an island and a subtropical environment simultaneously.
The Result: The “Expert” Blind Spot
The results are undeniable. Even when following “expert” manual guidelines, the traditional approach fails to see what our engine sees. Today, our Florida grid triggered a Fert-Water Skip, saving 416.6L per station.
While the RHS guidelines provide a respected starting point, they are static. They cannot “hear” the plant. A standard timer—or even a master gardener—would have watered today. Bio Tap’s Black Box interrogated the environment, processed the internal biological variables, and locked the protocol to prevent waste.
Partnering with the Future
We are not here to replace the hardware; we are here to provide the Algorithm-Driven Calibration that current hardware lacks. By monitoring 30 distinct data variables every 20 minutes, we provide the forensic proof that water companies and estates need to move from a “guess” to a science.
